Candace Renell is a novelist born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Her grandmother, Rebecca, was a college professor who taught English as a second language and encouraged her to write stories from a young age while her father and mother were her biggest inspiration and supporters growing up. She wrote her first novel at 19; several years later, she was signed to a publishing firm in 2014. Candace’s passions are writing novels and short stories, singing, tennis, UTV off-roading, videography, and other forms of visual art.

Candace’s goal is to utilize her writing ability to bring about inspiring stories that will engage readers and ultimately produce conversation and change. She views storytelling as a tool of creative expression and a way for people to escape and overcome adversities in their lives.
